The Rootz Foundation provides lecture presentations, workshops and multimedia seminars on a wide range of topics that promote awareness of cultural diversity, an understanding of the African/African American experience, and that encourage environmental responsibility. The Rootz Foundation, Inc. provides DVD’s, CD’s, books and other written materials as part of its production of goods. DVD’s and CD’s are produced and literature is written on topics that promote awareness of African and African American History and its impact on today’s society, and that also promote awareness of environmental, nutritional and recreational factors affecting health and wellness locally and globally. The products and services are intended to educate and inspire individuals, groups and organizations to be more open to cultural diversity and build unity and increased understanding of each others cultural differences.

Mail & Email solicitations: The Rootz Foundation periodically mails flyers and brochures as well as emails e-newsletters and e-brochures to individuals and organizations. These e-flyers, flyers and brochures contain:

• Information about the Rootz Foundation: how it was created, its history, its geographic location, its mission, etc.

• Information about the Rootz Foundation’s services: audiovisual presentations, workshops and seminar topics offered, media tools and research available, etc.

• Details about how the recipient of the information may contribute to further the purposes of the Rootz Foundation

• Information about how to contact the Rootz Foundation

The Rootz Foundation is seeking contributions from private and public foundations that further the mission of the Rootz Foundation. As an example, the Rootz Foundation solicits donations from educational organizations that seek to provide funding for promotion of education and cultural diversity.
